Scouts Air Rifle Shooting Competition
Well done to Jordan and Matthew who took second and third place respectively in the final of the District Competition, making Longham Scouts the top team!  Results of our heat can still be seen here.

Congratulations to Will and Sam who have been selected for the World Jamboree in Sweden.
 
Award for Former Longham Scout
Tom Kelly, a Longham Scout until he 'came of age' last year, has been named Campaigner of the Year.  While still with us, his mum caught him riding his bike without a helmet and since then he has spent two years encouraging people to wear them and raising money for Headway, the brain injury association. Top Award for Longham Beaver Scout

At some time in their lives all Beavers, Cubs and Scouts will put to good use something they learnt in scouting.  For one of our Beavers, Joshua, this happened far sooner than anyone could have expected.

  • District 'Order of the Boot' Competition for Scouts - March 13 to 14.

  • County Goose Camp - August 2010. More Details:
  • District Scout Shop - next open on Saturday 6 February (10:00am to 1:00pm) then Wednesday 10 February (5:00pm to 7:00pm).
